The terminal deposits the money electronically in to your specified bank account. Debit Credit Canada has no access to your funds.
Who supplies VISA and MasterCard and other card services?
All card services are provided by financial institutions long established in providing these services. As the merchant you choose which cards you would like to accept, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Dinners Clubs, JCB and American Express.
Will I be able to accept credit cards over the Internet or through my PC?
Yes, if you have an existing online store, we can help you reduce the rates for credit card acceptance or if you are considering building one, we can assist you in the setup of a merchant account for online payments. Through our partnership with major Canadian processors, such as Payment Services Interactive Gateway (PSIGate), and First Data can help secure your on line transactions.
Who installs my POS terminals?
The POS terminal comes via courier to your business location. These terminals are pre-programmed with all of your information for easy set up. Installation is simple, just unplug any existing terminal and follow the instructions to set up your new terminal. If you require assistance we would be pleased to dispatch a technician to help you.

Who services the terminals in the event of a malfunction?
Every terminal comes with 24 / 7 technical support. There is a toll free number on each terminal for your convenience in the event of a malfunction or if you have any questions.
How do we order more supplies?
Your terminal comes equipped with enough supplies to get you started. Debit Credit Canada has an exclusive arrangement with Batchelors Datamedia Limited for the supply of paper for your terminal. Our clients benefit from a preferred price for paper or any other office product. Do I need to purchase a terminal?
No, you do not need to purchase a terminal. There are other options of renting or leasing your terminal. We recommend that our clients lease to purchase as there is no economic advantage to renting forever. You will receive the same level of service and limited lifetime warranty regardless of whether you buy or lease.
How long does it take to get my terminal?
Upon approval of your application, your new terminal will be delivered to your business within 10 business days.
What is the warranty on the equipment?
All equipment comes with a limited life time warranty. There is no limit to the number of warranty replacements. In addition, there is no planned obsolescence with the terminals.
What happens if Debit Credit Canada moves from the credit card acceptance business?
Don't worry, as we are brokers and do not manage your banking arrangement or handle your money. We facilitate your cost effective programs with the processors and Merchant Service Providers.
